From Booktalks to Booktrailers: Intermediate and Young Adult Literature as Mixed Media Presentations This approach to technology-based literacy is guided by the E/LA Common Core Standards. Student objectives were developed directly from these standards. Our goals for teachers include providing a new perspective for teaching critical reading skills in YA literature, embedding student facilitation of technology in literacy instruction, and providing an authentic audience for sharing literacy projects.
